-Do you have a plan for finding and paying for temporary recovery lodging near the hospital that your doctors likely will require for a month or more until you’re stable enough to return home?
-Does your medical insurance cover the full cost of this lodging? Have you, yourself, confirmed lodging coverage by reading your Evidence of Coverage document available from your insurance company? Do you need help in getting or reading that information?
-Will you be unable to pay for your required lodging if your insurance doesn’t pay for it?
-Will you be, or are you now, unable to pay other essential expenses because of some situation related to your heart transplant?
-Have you asked your hospital social worker about financial aid programs?
